The Elkjøp-ligaen is the top women's handball league in Norway, one of the great powers of the women's game. The league was founded in 1967. From 2026-27 it is named after its new sponsor, the electronics retailer Elkjøp, having been called REMA 1000-ligaen before that.

Fourteen teams play a regular season before the playoffs decide the champion. Larvik HK have won more titles than any other club, while Storhamar and Sola are among today's leading sides.
